On the 4th of July five of the Tanzanians studying and working in Stavanger as a part of the NOTA-project danced in an intercultural performance on the occasion of Queen Sonja of Norway's 70th anniversary. The Tanzanian dancers were Msamiru Kaabuka, Beatrice Taisamo, Shaaban Bakari, Leonard Buriani and Bona Masenge. The first two of these are studying for a BA in Dance Education at the University of Stavanger as a part of a SIU-programme. The latter three are Fredskorpset-participants who will spend most of their working time in "Ngoma"-project in "The Cultural School Bag". |
